Day 1: Our day begins with an early arrival in Vienna, famous for the historic geniuses like Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven and Sigmund Freud, who once called Vienna their home. Immediately after arrival in the Austrian Metropolis, we meet our local guide. Here we will stroll through Vienna’s imperial past and vibrant present. Amongst the highlights will be the Hofburg Imperial Palace, Viennese Stephansdom, Belvedere Palace, Rathaus (City Hall), and many more beautiful and historic sites. Following our grand adventure in the city, we check into our hotel and spend the evening feasting on some delicious Austrian cuisine providing the perfect first opportunity to indulge in local flavors.
Day 2: Today is all yours to explore Vienna to your hearts content and at your own pace. Perhaps take a ride in one of the famous Fiakers (horse-drawn carriages), visit the Prater Amusement Park, or simply enjoy the bustling city center with beautiful shops and restaurants filled with delicious local cuisine.
Day 3: After Breakfast and hotel check out we are off to visit Castle Schönbrunn, perhaps one of the most glamorous sites of the entire trip, and the perfect grand finale for our trip. Here we have arranged for you to be given a once-in-a-lifetime Grand Tour, allowing to you stroll where emperors once walked and gaze upon the finest and most luxurious interior found in all of Europe. We will also visit the Mirror Room, where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart performed one of his first concerts and compositions in 1762 on the harpsichord for Empress Maria Theresa when he was only 6 years old, evidencing the beginnings of this gifted musical child prodigy.
Our journey continues on to Salzburg where we check into our Hotel early afternoon and join our tour guide for a first glimpse of this magnificent city boasting gorgeous alpine surroundings.
Day 4: After Breakfast, we meet our local guide for a mid morning informative stroll through the historical city center. Here you will find all the quintessential ingredients of European charm, big city flair and an authentic vintage spirit. The remainder of the day is yours to explore at your own pace. For the best view of the town and surrounding alpine vistas, don't miss the funicular ride to Castle Hohensalzburg, Salzburg's most popular attractions. As the sun gets ready to set it is time to bid farewell to this glorious alpine town and start our return journey back to Ramstein.
