Today’s adventure begins with a scenic drive through the majestic Swiss Alps to the pristine shores of Lake Geneva or how the French call it, Lac Leman. The city of Geneva is widely known as the diplomatic hub of Europe with luxury shops and a charming cobbled city center as well as the city of peace with Headquarters of the European United Nations and the International Red Cross.
Here we board our boat and set out on a cruise along the southern part of the crescent-shaped lake’s stunning shoreline, taking advantage of an unparalleled view only available from the lake. We will cruise by splendid villas, beautiful monuments and marvelous parks. The Jet d’Eau, the world’s largest water fountain, shooting water to heights of 450 feet, serving as the town’s iconic symbol will be one of the highlights.
Filled with new impressions, it is time to dive into the dazzling city and explore on our own. The history of Geneva’s Old Town is sure to charm you and provide a glimpse of Mount Blanc (White Mountain), Europe’s largest Peak, providing the perfect backdrop for this picturesque city. There is plenty of free time to explore one of the many museums, marvel at the most exquisite chocolate stores, relax at the waterfront, shop the famous Market Street for Swiss souvenirs or try out one of the fantastic cheese fondue restaurants for a traditional Swiss lunch.
