As the capital of south Holland, The Hague is best known for being home of the International Court of Justice of the United Nations located in the Vredespaleis (Peace Palace). Highlights of the town are the Huis ten Bosch Palace, home to the Dutch Royal Family and the Palace Noordeinde, seat of the Dutch Government. The Hague has always been known to be the political center but also has a variety of cultural institutions in store for visitors, museums, bustling shopping areas as well as an abundance of welcoming bars and restaurants.
