Alpine Ski & Snow Adventure

This year for the very first time RTT and ODR is introducing a joint adventure to the snow-capped mountain tops of Austria in the heart of Tirol. The Stubai Valley is home to an interconnecting web of slopes comprised of three major ski areas, offering exciting winter thrills for skiers of all abilities and ages.

Winter sports enthusiasts will revel at the 65 manicured slopes that provide an unlimited array of downhill delight, through two main gondola stations.  The Stubai Glacier is Austria’s largest ski area, offering over 13 miles in slopes and trails for professional to beginner skiers, along with cross country trails and everything in between. A plethora of entertainment is available, including a Snow Park, Family Land, restaurants and umbrella bars make this area an ideal winter escape for children, families and adventure seekers who apres ski as hard as they hit the powder.

On Saturday & Sunday, our tour bus will shuttle all ski & snow enthusiasts to the Stubai Glacier in the morning and back in the afternoon. 

Tyrol is more than an amazing playground of slopes and skiing, it world renowned for its natural beauty, awesome cities, shopping sightseeing. For those who want to combine recreation with sightseeing, a full day optional excursion to the enchanting city of Innsbruck will be offered.  On the way to Innsbruck, we will visit the famous Swarovski Crystal World Exhibition and Factory Outlet that boasts the “world’s biggest crystal” (137 pounds) as well as the “crystal scope”, an enormous kaleidoscope made of Swarovski crystal and other fascinating exhibits.  Before we depart, visit the Outlet Shop for a chance to purchase special gifts, jewelry, figurines and more beautiful crystal bling!  In the city, your guide will take you on a walking tour of Old Town where you will be introduced to popular important sights such as the Stadtturm, St. Jacobs Cathedral, Hofburg Imperial Palace (entrance not included) where a display of 28 larger-than-life size statues of legendary royal ancestors are shown, including King Arthur of England.  After the tour, there will be plenty of free time for independent exploration, shopping and enjoying the local flavors of in an assortment of restaurants.
