This amazing all-inclusive day on the Rhine River offers everything you could want from a day in the one of Germany’s most beautiful and picturesque regions. This trip is packaged with activities including wine sampling, a relaxing and scenic Rhine River cruise, regional German lunch, tour of Burg Rheinstein, visit to the famous wine town of Rüdesheim and more!

Our adventure begins at “Stefan’s Wine Paradise” where you are welcome to sample and shop for some of the best wines found in the Rhine Valley. Next, we embark on our cruise, where you can relax in the ample outdoor deck space and take in the beautiful panoramic views of the castles and vineyards that line the walls of the valley. As we cruise through some of the most romantic parts of the Rhine River a delicious typical German “Schnitzel” lunch will be served.

We stop along the River to walk up to Castle Rheinstein, sitting high and proudly above the Rhine River. From here you can take in the amazing views of the river and valley from a totally new vantage point. After ample time to enjoy the scenery an in-depth tour of the castle with a local guide that provides insight and history of the castle and the local area, we continue on by ship.

Our final stop takes us to the charming town of Rüdesheim and the famous “Drosselgasse.” Here you are free to independently explore the many local sites, and enjoy strolling the quaint streets and alleys packed with wine shops where even more delicious German wine can be sampled and purchased!

During the middle of August the town of Rüdesheim hosts their annual Rhine River Wine Fest offering participants on our 18 August Rhine River trip the added bonus of enjoying the festivities as part of the tour. During our planned free time in Rüdesheim, explore the fest, sample the regions many outstanding wines and take advantage of the chance to purchase wines from many local vendors to stock up your personal wine collection!
