Candy Coated Cologne

We can't wait to take you to Cologne, the fourth largest city in Germany, major cultural hub, home to over 1 million people and 5 million visitors a year. Our first stop will be Cologne Cathedral, the most visited landmark in Germany. This grand Gothic church took over 600 years to complete, boasts the highest vaults ever achieved, largest facade in the world and survived over 34,000 tons of ordinance that pelted the city in WWII. If you're feeling adventurous, be sure to climb the narrow 509 step staircase to the top of one of the twin towers for the best view in the city.

Next, we'll walk through the old town of Cologne. We will pass by inviting Old Town Brewery Pub’s, where later on you can enjoy a traditional German lunch, perhaps get to taste of the famous Kölsch beer to go with it, a local specialty unique to Cologne.

We'll make a special sweet stop on the way home at the Haribo Factory Outlet where you can immerse yourself in the delicious and colorful world of Haribo and Maoam. Tasty novelties and classics sourced from all over Europe can be found here in every flavor, shape, and juicy morsel imaginable.
